On May 5, within the framework of the project TNE QUB–HUCE: Transnational Education for Women in Construction – Leveraging AI and Digital Tools, the Institute for Construction Investment Management (IICM) organised a consultation meeting with experts in the fields of construction economics and construction management to gather feedback for a training programme on AI and digital tools in the construction sector.
The meeting was held as part of the process of developing and refining the training programme, which is expected to be delivered at the end of July. During the session, experts exchanged ideas and provided comments on the proposed training contents, their practical applicability, and their relevance to the ongoing digital transformation of the construction industry in Vietnam.

The consultation focused on topics such as data-driven cost management, digital project control, BIM–AI integration, and AI application capabilities in construction management. Feedback from the experts will serve as an important basis for the project team to further review and improve the programme to better meet practical needs and professional demands in Vietnam.
Through this activity, the project aims to enhance access to digital tools and AI technologies for learners in the construction sector, particularly female engineers, young professionals, and trainees seeking to strengthen their professional capacities in the context of digital transformation.
The draft training programme will be posted here for interested individuals to follow, provide further feedback, and register for participation.
The programme is part of the collaborative project between Queen’s University Belfast and HUCE-IICM, funded by the British Council.
